Precipitation
The annual precipitation for temperate rainforests is at least 200 cm (78.74 in) and can go up to 350 cm (137.79 in). Temperate rainforests have four seasons with a distinct winter. As you can see from the graph below (which is of Seattle, Washington which is located in the Pacific Northwest and is located in the temperate rainforest biome) the amount of precipitation per month fluctuates greatly between the seasons. In the spring and summer (April-August) the rainfall per month is at it's lowest, and in September the rainfall starts to rise, and by November and December the rainfall per month is at it's absolute highest.
